This bipod comes with a picatinny clamp so to make this compatible with your Ruger .338 magnum, you will to mount a picatinny rail on your handguard. Alternatively, since the Ruger .338 magnum has an arca rail built into the handgaurd, you could get the Atlas BT65-NC bipod and the Area 419 Arca Clamp to mount the bipod directly to the built-in arca rail.
