Yes, this extension uses the original spring. We haven't had any problems with the spring not working reliably with our extension.
Does this extension use the original spring? CZ 455/457 3 Round Mag Extension
If so, isn’t this less reliable as the original spring was designed for 10 not 13 rounds?
