So the 30 cal weights only 0.67oz, even lighter than 22 cal at 1.05oz?

    With the different thread pitches you will get different weights. The 5/8x24 brakes will weigh slightly less, since more material is removed from the brake to make the thread. Compared to the 1/2x28 thread, where not as much material is removed for the thread.
