I’m new to precision rifle shooting. Does this take the place of the ARCA rail, or would you still need one? Seekins Precision Ruger SP3R V3 Rail System

I’m new and have been going to watch some local matches. I am setting up a Ruger precision rifle and was told I need an ARCA rail. Would this take its place or because I would need to mount a bipod do I also need the rail? Thank you.

No this does not have a built in ARCA rail. You would still need one if you wanted to utilize the ARCA rail system. See the following link for a product that has a built in ARCA rail:
