Make sure the gun is completely unloaded. Press in on the mag release, if you are using a punch push out the punch pin. This will release the mag release. Be careful not to lose the spring. Take the spring and put it in the new extended mag release. Line up the mag release by pushing your finger onto it. Once the hole is lined up put the punch pin back in.
